Everyday Signs of Life is a visual journey through place and time, and a reflection on how people engage with one another and the world around them. Lipgar’s use of color and the way he captures the expressive quality of natural and artificial light reveal the richness of human experience that can be discovered in simple moments such as sitting in a cafe, strolling down a street or pausing along a roadside. Signs populate the photographs - signs that direct, inform and point to where others have been.

Lipgar is an artist who presents scenes and situations that comment on familiar moments with irony and humor.
